WEEKLY BULLETINS, ANNOUNCEMENTS & EVENTS
THANK YOU FROM MONSIGNOR COYLE
A special word of thanks to all who worked so hard last month at the parish Garage Sale. A small core group put in many long hours to make the day successful. Thank you for your love and dedication to our school!
Also, thank you to all who contributed to the Bishop’s Annual Appeal. The parish is almost at our goal. Thank you for your generosity and outreach those served by this annual appeal.

DO YOU KNOW SOMEONE WHO IS HOMEBOUND?
Our St. Ann Visitation Ministry visits over 20 people who are in nursing or assisted living homes or are homebound. We visit at least once every two weeks and often make weekly visits. If you have a family member or a loved one homebound or in a nursing or assisted living home who would enjoy company and is not being visited by our compassionate companions, we’re just a phone call away. We love to listen and to brighten the day of our parishioners! Please contact Bob Jones at 610-965-3609 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.

PRAYER SHAWL MINISTRY
(New Date & Time)
6:00 PM - 8:00 PM in the Parish Life Center
Prayer Shawl Ministry volunteers create prayer shawls and blankets for those who are sick, or in need of comfort, every 4th Thursday of the month, 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM, in the Parish Life Center. The shawls are blessed by our pastors and are donated to hospice facilities, hospitals, nursing homes, etc. Blankets are distributed through Project Linus. We’re always happy to have new volunteers! If you would like more info or to join our group, call Beverly Ruppert, 610-967-1663. If you know of someone in the parish who is in need of a shawl or blanket, contact our Rectory at 610-965-2426.
September 6th - 8th
Fall Fest is a fun and exciting 3-day church festival and community celebration that occurs annually on the Thursday, Friday and Saturday after Labor Day. Taking place every year since 1982, it is one of the oldest and most significant annual community events in the borough of Emmaus, drawing our neighbors from all of the surrounding communities and beyond.
8:45 AM - Noon in the Parish Life Center
If you plan to volunteer with the school, parish, scouts, CYO, or PREP program, now is your chance to attend a PGC workshop at St. Ann’s.
All Diocese of Allentown volunteers and employees who have contact with children are required to attend a Protecting God’s Children Program. This presentation is made by trained facilitators from the diocese “to educate every Diocesan priest, employee and volunteer who interacts with children about the damage caused by child sexual abuse and what they can do to prevent it.” If you attended a Protecting God’s Children program in the past you do not need to attend again.
This program is not suitable for children. No one under the age of 18 may attend. Please make other arrangements for your children.
Please contact Chris Kimock before September 18th at email@example.com or 610-965-6888 to register.
