ANNOUNCEMENTS

PARISH COMMITMENT CARDS

Our parish Sacrificial Giving Program is under way. This effort is very important as we move forward with the mission and vision of St. Ann’s Church. If completing your Commitment Card was not possible during Mass, please return the Commitment Card mailed to you to the office this week or in next week’s collection. St. Ann’s now participates in Online Giving. It’s fast and easy to do. Click HERE to get started! Thank you for your continued good stewardship and support of our parish.

ROSARY PRAYERS IN HONOR OF MARY

Throughout the month of October, St. Ann students will pray the rosary in devotion and to honor our Blessed Mother every Monday, at 1:15 pm, in the church.

IT'S HELPING HANDS TIME!

Please help us get ready to prepare the annual Thanksgiving Dinner Boxes for over 100 families in need. Each family receives a turkey and ingredients for a full Thanksgiving meal! All boxes are delivered to the families by volunteers. How Can You Help? Donate non perishable food items: canned cranberry sauce, candied yams, boxed instant potatoes, gravy, canned fruit, applesauce, canned vegetables, cake mixes, frosting. Donate grocery store gift cards, too! Help us deliver food baskets! Pray for families in need! Please contact stannhelpinghands@gmail.com to assist. Thank You!

BECOME AN USHER

Ushers are an important part of our Welcoming Ministry. We’re looking for women, men, and teens who would like to help out with this important hospitality duty. Being an usher is more than passing out the collection baske - we greet and meet parishioners and visitors as they enter our church, direct and seat people in our main church and comfort room, collect the offering, hand out bulletins or information, and perform other tasks necessary during the Mass. Please join our friendly group! We look forward to meeting you! For more information contact Paul Zalewski at 610-509-7529, or email paulzale@rcn.com.

OUR TRANSPORTATION MINISTRY NEEDS YOU

After serving for many years as the heads of our parish Transportation Ministry, Nick and Gloria Grazio are stepping down from their leadership position. Gloria and Nick will continue to provide their time, compassion, and companionship as drivers. Now we’re looking for someone who would like to lead this ministry group. You need access to email, some organizational skills, and an open heart willing to help our parish. Our Transportation Ministry provides rides to our older parishioners to doctor appointments, etc., so they can maintain an active, independent lifestyle without wheels! Please contact the Grazios at 610-395-2285 if you can take on this position or can be a volunteer driver. Thank you!

OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD SHOEBOXES

This is a global Christmas project! Shoeboxes are in each foyer. Please take a box (or 2) along with the “How to Pack a Shoebox” brochure. Fill your shoeboxes with age appropriate gifts for boys or girls ages 2-4, 5-9, and 10-14. Please return any filled boxes to one of the church foyers before November 6th. If you have any questions, please contact Pam Schiaffo at 610-966-5069 or email davepamschiaffo@hotmail.com . Thank you!

RECYCLING CONTAINERS NOT TO BE USED
