St. Ann's first annual Homecoming event will be held on Saturday, April 22 after the 5:30 PM Mass and will continue on Sunday, April 23 from 8:00 AM till 2:00 PM. The Homecoming will be held in the Hoban Gymnasium and the St. Ann School Cafeteria at 415 S. 6th Street, Emmaus, PA.

The event is part of the parish emphasis on being WARM: Welcoming, Accessible, Relevant, and true to its Mission - to bring people to Christ. Homecoming is a follow-up to a recent networking conference of the parish's ministry leaders, where synergies among the ministries were realized and suggestions were made as to how the parish could improve its outreach to its parish family and to the greater community.

Homecoming attendees will be given the opportunity to discover the many groups sponsored by St. Ann's that provide opportunities to serve the physical and spiritual needs of the community. Representatives from each group will be present and there will be displays to better illustrate the various groups activities.

To help demonstrate the service side of our organizations, on Sunday the 23rd, the Knights of Columbus and the Women's Alliance of St. Ann's (WASA) will be offering a FREE pancake and sausage breakfast to all who stop by a Homecoming booth and pick up a ticket. Breakfast will be available from 8:30 AM to 12:00 Noon. On Saturday evening, there will be coffee and donuts.

St. Ann's is home to more than 40 organizations, social groups and ministries. We want St. Ann's to be a place where anyone can feel welcome and discover their faith in ways that are relevant to them. We offer many ways to serve, but we encourage people to share their feedback with us so we can be sure that there is a "home" for everyone. That's really what it's all about - to witness God's love through our service to others.
