THINKING ABOUT BEING AN ALTAR SERVER?

To be an altar server, students should be in grades 5-12. Girls, boys, public school or St. Ann School, there’s room for everyone! Training is available and you will be paired with an experienced Altar Server for your first few Masses.

If you have questions or would like to sign up, please email ckimock@stann-emmaus.org.

WOULD YOU BE AN USHER OR GREETER?

Our parish Welcoming Ministry includes our volunteer ushers and greeters. It’s an important part of being a WARM parish - it all starts with WELCOMING! A friendly “hello” as folks enter for Mass is what a Greeter does, and our Ushers assist with the collection baskets and distribution of bulletins. A smile and willingness to help are all that is needed!

Please contact Frank if you would like to help: macaronifrank@yahoo.com. He’ll work with your schedule.

ONGOING CARMELITE COLLECTION

Spearheaded by parishioner Maureen Hildebrandt, WASA has formed a wonderful, faith-filled relationship with the sisters. The Carmelites are cloistered and live a simple life surrounded by God through prayer. They are sustained through the charity of others. If you would like to contribute a few items to their daily needs, there is always a collection bin at the information desk in the lobby.

Suggestions: cleaning products; paper products (white); plastic storage and trash bags; applesauce cups; cooking oil; canned goods: soups, vegetables, fruit; PB (creamy) & jelly; non-stick cooking spray; sugar; boxed potatoes (any kind)

BLOOM IN OUR GARDEN OF MERCY

Do you enjoy gardening, or would you like to spend some time getting closer to nature?
The parish garden feeds many in need!

St. Ann’s provides fresh produce throughout the growing season to local food pantries through the nonprofit Plant-A-Row LV. For the past several years our garden has been a top producer, donating over 1 TON of vegetables!

Parish home gardeners drop off their surplus veggies and fruit each Saturday morning to add to our donations, too!
