WHAT IS WASA?

WASA is a group of female parishioners brought together by faith who enjoy Christian fellowship, seek spiritual enrichment, and are dedicated to serving others.

WHAT WE DO

  • Participate in monthly meetings (September thru June) which consist of a spiritual share, prayer partner snack & chat, business discussions, guest speaker(s), member activities. And, of course, delicious refreshments!

  • Conduct a major fundraiser to support charitable works in the parish and around the community.

  • Support the Helping Hands group as they assist families in and around the parish who are experiencing needs of food, clothing and other necessities.

  • Collect supplies for the Carmelite Sisters at the monastery in Coopersburg.

  • Fund scholarship gifts for (2) 8th grade students at St. Ann School who exemplify Catholic values in their daily lives.

  • Assist and support other parish activities including the annual Mass of Remembrance, Knights of Columbus events and more.

  • Provide annual contribution to the PREP Program for classroom or administrative needs as these young students are the future of our parish community.

  • Conduct a PREP Teacher Appreciation reception to recognize the staff who work diligently on the students' faith curriculum.

  • Maintain an active WASA Prayer Chain asking for God's grace and blessings for the health and safety of all members and their families.

  • Donate homemade baked goods to parish events as requested.

  • Pay annual dues of $10.00 to cover our administrative costs
