If you're looking for a group of women who are interested in celebrating our shared Catholic faith, doing good works, and having fun, then WASA is for

WHAT IS WASA?

WASA is a group of female parishioners brought together by faith who enjoy Christian fellowship, seek spiritual enrichment, and are dedicated to serving others.

WHAT WE DO

  • Participate in monthly meetings (September through June) that consist of member spiritual share, business discussions, outside speaker and activity or project and, of course, delicious refreshments.

  • Host a Spring Raffle Event and (hopefully soon) Fall Designer Bag/Bingo as major fundraisers.

  • Make an annual contribution to St. Ann School for the end-of-the-school-year activity and two scholarship gifts for 8th grade graduates who exemplify Catholic values in their daily lives. (2021 gift: School Bleacher Fund.)

  • Support St. Ann’s Helping Hands ministry in assisting families in need who are experiencing food insecurity.

  • Assist and support other parish activities, including the annual Mass of Remembrance, Knights of Columbus events, and more.

  • Donate delicious homemade baked goods to parish events as needed.

  • Bring cheer to senior, homebound WASA members with Christmas stockings filled with goodies.

  • Provide Christmas tins filled with WASA's homemade cookies to St. Ann’s Eucharistic Ministers to be delivered to parish homebound.

  • Provide annual contribution to St. Ann's PREP program recognizing that our younger parishioners are the future of our Church community.

  • Maintain an active WASA Prayer Chain asking for God's grace and blessings for the health and safety of all members and their families.
